Russian Dolls

Happy Monday,

I'm not a sports nut.  I couldn't name more then 10 professional football teams.  When a sporting event is on TV... my eyes get heavy and shortly after I'm asleep.  That being said, I LOVE THE OLYMPICS!   I love watching all the different sporting events.   I love cheering on Team USA.  I think it is so cool that the World gets together and celebrates such an old tradition.  I think it is special thing.

I have been so engrossed, that I wanted to make an Olympic card.  When I started thinking about it...and ultimately concluded that was a little silly.  Who do you send an Olympic card too?   Magnolia recently released a collection of stamps called "Little Moscow".  Clever on Magnolia's part... I never occurred to me that the Olympics were in Russia when I bought the little Russian Doll (Matryoshka Tilda) stamp.  I really liked her, but hadn't a clue what I'd use her for.  I dug through my stamps and found some sentiments that worked well together to create this cute "friendship" card.
