Sent With Love

Hello all,

I hope you are not sick of Valentine's yet.  I'm having so much fun making them this year.   I'm not sure if it is the cute animals or the punny saying that seems to go with them.   I'm in love!

Octopi My Heart

Greetings,

I thought I'd start today off this week with another non-traditional Valentine.   This card took a bit to color, but the end result was worth it.   I wanted the two octopi closest to the sentiment to stand out, so I only shaded them.  The rest of are colored with lighter shades with minimal shading.

Layered Heart

Happy Friday!

I'm meeting with the Brockport group tonight to make the Card Lover's Cards.  I'm really excited to see everyone.  This set of cards is challenging, but they will do great.

Here is one of the Valentine's Card we are making tonight.  I the classic look of this card.  I think I'll be making a bunch of these!

Love you a Lottle

Welcome,

I have another Valentine's day card to share today.  This one is a little more traditional.  I stamped red hearts on the red paper.  It is a really subtle look.  I guess that is why the camera has such a hard time picking it up.   I thought these penguins look like they are cuddling so I paired them with this sentiment.

I Like you a Waffle Lot

Good Morning all,

I hope you had a wonderful weekend.   We had a nice break from the chilly weather here.  It was almost 50 degrees today.  We took advantage and took Ryan sledding on the almost melted snow.  It was his first time out and I think he really enjoyed it.  His Dad has his fingers crossed that he will be a snowboarder too.

I'm in the Valentine's Day spirit.  I can't seem to stop making cards.  I have lots to share over the next week or two.

I picked a non-traditional card to share today.   Food stamps are really popular this year.  Especially breakfast foods.  Weird huh?  I have to admit I got sucked in too.   I know they are not everyone's cup of tea (haha).  What do you think?

Mandala

Hello friends,

I'm so excited to share these cards.  I love how they turned out.   I used the Mandala stamp from Hero Arts.  I just added a touch of color using watercolor paints.    I made a few of these.  These are my two favorites.  I made one pink/blue/purple the second pink/pearl/gold.   What do you think?

Hello Stampers!

I love snowmen.  They are so adorable.   This guy is created with die cuts.  He is covered with glitter.  I hope you enjoy...

My first attempt..  It is not perfect, but cute enough that I wanted to share.

Coffee Warms My Heart

Happy Friday!

January has brought us some frigid weather.  The wind chill is supposed to be in the double digits for the next few days in upstate NY.   It is a perfect inspiration for "Warm" cards.

I made two versions of this card.  I used the same colors, but flipped them around a bit.  I used the sweater embossing folder on the background, but it didn't show up well in the photos.

My Monthly Hero December 2017

Hello all,

I'm a little late in posting this.  I finished the video and cards before Christmas, but couldn't find time during the holiday rush to post photos of the cards.

I was reading some feedback posts about this kit in several groups and it I know many were unhappy with it.  There are still kits available and that is really unusual for a kit not to sell out.  Personally I liked the kit.  I didn't have anything like it in my stamp collection.   I think kit made some really great masculine cards.

You will notice a theme when you look at my set of cards.  I guess when I think of deserts... I think of sunsets.  I used a distress oxide inks to create some sunset backgrounds.   I really like how these turned out.  I hope you enjoy them too.  If you would like to watch the video click here.
