Hello,
I can't believe how fast Valentine's day is creepin' up. Can we vote and push that back a month? I'm not going to lie. I still have Christmas stamps on my desk. I'm trying to wrap up unfinished projects. The probably will finish themselves up, right?
Well to take my mind off of the mess, I decided to create a new one. My friend (Kimberly) and I noticed that all of sudden bees are everywhere. Bees seem to be a trending for Valentine's day. How could I not jump on the band wagon. I have planned out a few different bee cards to share with you before Feb 14th! My first card features a gnomie from Unity. This little bee keeper is enjoying a sweet treat. I colored the pots in 3 different colors. Do you have a favorite? Did you know at the bottom every blog post, I share all my copic colors if I used them?
Materials:
Stamps:
Sentiments from Honeybee stamps
Dies:
Paper:
paper from Stampin' Up
Yellow polka dot purchased at Hobby Lobby
Other:
Inka Gold to add some shine to a few of the honeycombs. They no longer make Inka Gold... it is called
Solar paste. Same thing
Copics are listed at the bottom of post
I wasn't really sure where I was going from here.... but I kept on the bee theme. Here is how they turned out. I made 10 cards in total.
Close up of the Inka Gold- just adds a shine. Solar paste will do something very similar
