Wedding Cake

Hello, 

I was asked to make a wedding card for a friend.   I'm so glad that she asked.  It turned out I needed some too.   I wanted to send out a Congrats to all our friends celebrating weddings in the next few months.  I love this simple design.  I used a really old Stampin up set to make this (so sorry I don't even remember the name).  If you didn't use pink, what color would you do?

Under Wraps

 Hello, 

This card was too cute to keep under wraps (see what I did there?).  Unity release this cutie in their kit of the month and I just had to get him on a card.   They have a whole series of cards for characters that are peaking around a corner.    They are sweet but can be a little challenging to use.   I'm working on creating some card sketches that work for these types of images.   Would that be a helpful resource? 

I used colored pencils to create this look and white gel pen.

Autumn Know

Hello! 

Today is the first full day of Autumn.   It is sad that summer is over.   Autumn makes up for it with all the pretty colors.   As I was driving around yesterday I noticed that the trees started turning.   The colors are always inspirational.    

This year I was drawn by this old Lawn Fawn set.   They just came out with an add-on that you can see here.   I used them both on my next card (I'll share that soon).  I hope this inspires you to get an older stamp set and ink it up.

From The Top

Hello. 

Waffle flower has knocked it out of the park with this die.  It was released a while ago, but it is new to me.   It is just a fun new take on a pumpkin.  I used orange, green, and brown ink to sponge the edges of the die cuts to add more depth.   The sentiment is from Riley and co.   It just seemed like it was made for this die cut.

Masked Leaves

Hello, 

Isn't funny how techniques float in and off our crafty tables.   I haven't done this style of masking in years. but It seemed like a fun way to accent the leaves on this beautiful embossing folder by Stampin up.   To finish up the card I splattered the paper with gold watercolor.
