Spooky Scenes
BOO!
Did I scare you? Yeah... probably not. I'm more of the too cute to spook than creepy halloween type. I thought when I started out with this card I was going to make a spooky scene. It turns out I think the cat just likes to cuddle jack-o-lanterns in the cemetery. It could happen, right?
As a side note.. the Happy Halloween is supposed to be a paint stroke. I thought I was going to do it in a festive color like orange or green. However, It turns out I liked it in black the best. It thought it looked a little like a tail of a shooting star or comet. It is Halloween... so anything is possible.

Pumpkin Spice Season
Hello!
Well it is no secret. I'm a summer person... but if it is going to go at least we can replace it with something nice. Are you a Pumpkin Spice person? Are you headed out to get a sweet treat? Pumpkin donut? Pumpkin ice cream? Pumpkin latte?

So Full of Thanks
Greetings,
This weather this weekend was wonderful! We took full advantage of the sunshine and went to the pumpkin patch and took the dogs for long walks. It was a wonderful combination of warm weather, pumpkin, corn mazes and donuts. What did you do on this warm fall weekend?
I love the new creative touches companies are adding to their dies. The dies cut out the bears hands so they can hold their Thanksgiving treats.

Nature's Gold (Easy Watercolor)
Greetings,
Fall has officially arrived in upstate NY. The leaves here are colorful and dancing in the wind. I'm sad to see summer fade, but the beauty that fall brings is spectacular. I wanted to celebrate that color in today's card.
I used dye ink pads to watercolor this pumpkins. Any dye ink pads can be used they do not need to be this brand of ink.

You can watch how I made this card here. If you reading this in your email they video will not play. You need to go to youtube or the blog to watch.

Hello pumpkin
Greetings,
I'm back to day with my favorite pumpkin stamp. It is a layering stamp from Strawberry Jude. I seem to drag this stamp set out every Fall. If you want to see the cards I've made in past years, you can click on the links below.
Check out how awesome this pumpkin looks! I kept the card really simple, so the focus will be on the pumpkin. I'd love to hear what pumpkin card is your favorite of the three times I've used this stamp.

Owls and Pumpkins
Thank you for joining me today. I was driving today and noticed that in just even a day or so the leaves are more orange and yellow than green. When we got home, the toddler and I played in the leaves that have collected on the back porch. He loved the crunch sound they make.

Hey Pumpkin Pie
I'm a bit behind on blogging. Life has just been crazy with weddings, and family visits. Summer has finally faded and lake season is over. It is time to shift focus to all things fall. Bring on the pumpkin spice!
I've had this stamp for ages, but never had inked it up. I was nervous about coloring pumpkin pie. I wasn't sure what to use to capture the rich orange brown color. Then recently I was shopping for cardstock and found paper called Pumpkin Bread by (FSJ). It was perfect. I used the paper help me choose marker colors. I love the final look. This process is backwards of what I usually do. I might need to work backwards more often.
I hope you enjoy...

Birthday Pumpkin
It feels more like winter than fall these days. Yikes! It has been cold here I know I should complain we had a really warm fall, but it went from summer to winter in a blink. I hope you are wrapped up in a warm blanket sipping hot chocolate as you read this.
I'm in love with this pumpkin stamp. It looks so real. This is my first card using the messy sting behind the image. It was harder than it looked, but it was worth it.

My Monthly Hero September 2017
Today's post is a long one. Please grab a cup of coffee, wrap up in a warm blanket and enjoy (I hope). I decided to participate in the "My Monthly Hero" challenge. Each month they release a stamp set and the challenge is to make 10 cards from one stamp set. You can use items from your "stash", but the idea is to limit it as much as possible.
Here are my cards for the September 2017 stamp set. I made 5 pumpkin and 5 sunflower cards. I hope you enjoy these cards and feel inspired. I'd love to hear your thoughts. What cards are your favorites? If you want to watch the video click here.
