Meowica

Hello all,
Happy 4th of July weekend!  This is a big one.  The USA is turning 250 years old.  Are you doing anything special?  We are doing the same traditions as always.  Fireworks, yummy food and lots of time with family.

This stamp is from Unity stamps.   I love this line of Kitty stamps.  It was really easy to color and I think it makes a hilarious card.    I added some gold gel pen to the starts and sparkler.   I just forgot to take another picture...so you are going to have to do a little imagining.

Beach Please

Hello,

This is one of my favorite weekends of the year.   It is the official start of lake season.   It is time to start soaking up the sunshine and flip flop around.   This cutie little kitty is from Unity stamps.  I color her up with copics and placed her on a background from Taylored expressions.  This is quickly becoming one of my favorite backround stamps.  I can't wait to see what else I can pair it with.

Reasons to Smile- Postage Stamp

Hi!

I'm still in love with the Waffle Flower postage collage die.   It is so fun to see what stamps will fit into the cells.  This time I used the new Bee set by Unity.  The bees are perfect.   I of course needed to supplement  to fill the smaller cells.  I found an ancient Stampin up set called "Reason to smile".  It had the tulip and sentiment in it.    I think it works.  What do you think?

Beak-Cause

Hello,

I was able to do a little bit of organization in my craft room.  I decided to take all my Chicken stamps and put them together to make a set.   All the images are Unity stamps.  It is nice to have them all grouped.  So I think I'm going to do the same with my cow Unity stamps too.

I haven't made this fun fold in a long time.   I had to pull out an old card to grab the measurements because I couldn't remember the sizes.  I just thought this chicken peaking around the corner was the perfect size for the front panel.     I was had a little fun matching this feather hair to the card base.  I think it just makes it all a little more playful.

A Plague

Hello friends,

Unity stamps has done it again.  This little guy is funny.  I love the expression on his face.   He sparked quiet the debate in class.  Is he a cricket? a cockroach? grasshopper?  Well, I couldn't let it go...so we did some googling and he is a grasshopper/locust.  When grasshoppers are in a group we call them locusts.  They famously caused a plague in the Bible.    Anyway,  this guy has had enough and he is organizing his own plague.   Can you relate?

Lucky to Know you

Hello,

It has been a long time since I've played with the smooshing watercolor technique.  It is so much fun.  We smooshed our papers into Mowed Lawn and Lucky Clover distress ink.  It gives a organic background. I used the new Unity St. Patrick's Day stamps to stamp the shamrocks.    What a happy, fun card!

No copics today

Hello Giraffe

Hello Human,

This card was a class favorite.  I didn't know how many people love giraffes.   Maybe this one is just extra cute.  What do you think?
