Dog Ears

Hello Friends,

It has been a while since I posted a card video.  I made this card back in April.  It was an instant favorite.  It is a fairly easy card to make once you know how to do it, but it took some playing around to figure it out.

When you pull on his tongue, his ears pop up! Check out the video below.

Check out the video!  If you are looking at this in your email, it won't play.  You need to go to the blog or you tube to see it.

Brighten My Day

Hello all,

I have a surprise for you today.  My goal is to make a series of videos on copic marker techniques.   It is a time consuming process, but if you can be patient with me it is a challenge I'd like to take on. Today I'm sharing my second video attempt with you.  Please feel free to share any feedback you have.   There is always room for improvement.    The video is at the bottom of this post.

I have a new glitter pen.  This it the first time I've used it. I love it!  It is like a glitter paint brush, so you only apply a thin layer of sparkle.  It is very subtle.  I'm curious to see how long the glitter lasts in the pen....there is only one way to find out... use it!
I used a black multi-liner to extent the ground across the entire bottom of the die cut for consistency.

Here is the video of me coloring the image.  A special thanks to my husband, Connor for editing it and adding all the text to the video.

*There is no sound for the video.

Pumpkin Makeovers

Hello,

Sorry for the delay in posting.   I was busy celebrating a birthday!  Yep, I made another trip around the sun.  I'm looking forward to many more trips.  I celebrated with my husband, mom, grandma and in-laws.  We took a day cruise on the Erie Canal.  The weather was perfect.  The trees just started to turn.   It was a beautiful day.

Me and My Grandma

Many years ago I made the card pictured below.  It has always been a favorite of mine.  However, as you can see it needs some sprucing up.

To spruce up this card, I wanted to color this card with copics.  I thought this card would be perfect to try something new too.   I made my first video.  I have a lot to learn, but for this clip isn't too bad to a film debut.

Copics used:

Orange: YR12, YR16, YR18, BV00
Brown: E71, E74, E77
Green: G43, G46

I hope you enjoyed my film debut.  I hope to do more in the future. Please feel free to leave me a comment, advice or suggestions.

Happy Crafting,
Chris
