Love is in the Air

Happy Valentine's Day!

Here is the last of my skunk cards.  I promise no more skunks for awhile.  I thought they were perfect way to practice shading black.

I tried a different way to make a bookmark card. I  used the clouds to wedge the bookmark to the card.  This way the recipient can easily take the bookmark off the card and use it. I like how it worked out.  This was much easier than other methods I've tired.

Skunks: 100, N9, N7, N5, N3
Pink: RV01, RV00, RV000, 0
Red: R89, R85, R83, R81

Not Pawssible

Welcome,

I was scrolling through my facebook feed and stumbled across a panda video.  There are a few baby pandas playing and going down the a slide.  Everytime one would go down, Ryan would say "Whee".   It is no wonder that these guys steal our hearts.

My Monthly Hero January 2018

Hello friends,

This months Hero Arts kit was Love themed.   The stamp set in the kit was much smaller than previous months.   The dies in the kit were also very intricate.  It really is a beautiful set.   When I was making the cards I was worried that there wasn't going to be enough variation to be interesting.  I kept reaching for the same die and stamp.  However, when I laid all the cards out at the end.  I could see that there was a wide variety of techniques.

If you haven't already please check out the video.  Click here to watch .  As a reminder...if you are looking at this in your email the video will not play.

I learned through making this cards it is called an ampersand not amperstand.   Funny things you learn up while crafting!   Please forgive me.  I say it wrong several times.

If you like the kit,  I think there are still some available on the Hero Arts web page.   I'd love to hear what cards are your favorites.
