Cheers and Beers

I've got another fun gnome to share with you today.  This guy is just so perfect for masculine cards.  I can see making a bunch of these for Father's day this year.    I think he looks quite proud of himself sitting in this mug!  

On the foam in the mug I used some pearl drops that I bought at Michaels to give some shine.  I didn't put them on thick.  Just little swipes of it here and there to add texture.

Cats Rule...Dogs Drool

It is pouring rain outside.  Some would say it is raining cats and dogs...  what a perfect opportunity to share these cards with you. 

I made a cat version and dog version of this same card.  Students were able to pick which version they liked better.  It was close, but I think the cat people outnumbered the dog people.   Oh well...next time!

Beer-day

Howdy!

Masculine cards can be tricky to make.  So many of our stamps are centered around cute images or flowers.  Two topics that are not real popular with the men-folk.    My hubby is very fond of beer.  He goes to beer tastings and buys special glasses to maximize hops.  I think it is silly...but then I have a room full of stamps.   If the beer helps make my stamp collection look smaller... I can support that.
