 Hello!

I have a new card featuring a new technique.  It features the new Leaf Background stamp (discount code TJ10Chris).  I was thinking about coloring all of those leaves and thought there has to be an easier way.  THERE IS!!

Check it out- a step by step video to create vibrant fall colors.  Video Link  I hope you give it a try.

Bring on the Color

 Hello friends,

I always hate to see summer fade.  At least fall takes the sting out of it by giving us beautiful colors to admire.  The leaves are just starting to change here.  I'm doing my best to get on board! This stamp is called Soft Seedling by Stampin Up.  It didn't catch my eye right away, but after seeing so many wonderful cards made with it. I had to have it.  I inked it up as soon as the UPS guy dropped it off.

What is your favorite season?  Do you have a favorite part of Fall?

Don't get Spooked

 Hello!

I love experimenting.  I did this technique about 5 years ago.  I forgot how addictive it is.  I made a video to show you how I did it.

Never Too Old

 Hi!

You know I can't resist a card with a little bit of Sass.    I used a red marker to make her lips red.  I love the classic look of the red, white, and black card.

So Sweet

 Welcome,

Once of my favorite parts of summer is watermelon.   It is so refreshing on a hot day.   I created the background with a stencil from Taylored Expressions.  It came with a funny saying (see bottom photo), however, I couldn't resist inking up Watermelon Tilda.  Don't they look good together?

Sit and Back and Relax

Hi!

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite card layouts.  I love how it breaks up the card. It is also really easy to do.  It is called a book fold.

I didn't put a sentiment on the gray shark.  I wasn't sure what kind of card I wanted it to be...yet.  What kind of sentiment would you put on it?  I used the second for a retirement card.   Hopefully she loved it.  We miss her at the senior center.

Greatest Oak

 Greetings,

Encouragement cards are some of my favorite to make and send.  It is nice to send little reminders that we are thinking about our friends and family.  These two stamps combine together perfectly.

I used the tombow markers to give the acorns a two-tone look.

Pumpkin Spice Season

 Hello!

Well it is no secret.  I'm a summer person... but if it is going to go at least we can replace it with something nice.   Are you a Pumpkin Spice person?  Are you headed out to get a sweet treat?   Pumpkin donut?  Pumpkin ice cream? Pumpkin latte?
