Don't get Spooked

 Hello!

I love experimenting.  I did this technique about 5 years ago.  I forgot how addictive it is.  I made a video to show you how I did it.

Alcohol Pour

Welcome,

I tried something different today.  I usually use a tool of some kind to guide the alcohol to create a background.  This time I just poured the alcohol on the glossy cardstock and let it create its own pattern.  I made several of these cards and they all are different.   Which one do you like?

I finished the card off by stamping a variety of flower stamps on backgrounds.  I love the way the black pops off the colored background.

Sail Away on a Creative Journey

Hello friends,

I have my first "tutorial" video.    I used the Sail Boat stamp from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps to create a series of cards.  Each card features a different background technique.  This journey has been a great learning experience.   It pushed me to try some new techniques that have been on my wish list for a while.     It is also really neat to see all the background types next to each other.

Please check out my two videos on backgrounds.

Courage

Happy Friday,

Silhouette stamping is making a come back in stamping.  I think it is because of tools like the MISTI that have made this type of stamping more practical.  I used to shy away from stamps like this.
