Beach Please

Hello,

This is one of my favorite weekends of the year.   It is the official start of lake season.   It is time to start soaking up the sunshine and flip flop around.   This cutie little kitty is from Unity stamps.  I color her up with copics and placed her on a background from Taylored expressions.  This is quickly becoming one of my favorite backround stamps.  I can't wait to see what else I can pair it with.

Layered Thank You

Hi!

Welcome, I have a quick card to share.   I love when you can make quick, but fun card.  Taylored Expressions made it super easy.  This is a stamp and stencil combo.  I stamped the thank you sentiment and then used stencils to accent.   I love that you can customize the flower placement.   This was a class favorite.

More Mosaics

Hello,

Earlier this week, I shared the blue and white card I made with the mosaic card kit.   I had a bunch of left over tiles so I wanted to see what I could make with them.   I popped the blue tiles up on the gray background.  I love the blue/grey/white color combo.   What do you think?   I know I'm not done creating with this set yet!

Blue Mosaic

Hello,

As you know Taylored Expressions releases a limited edition kit each month.  They often release part or all of it later down the road, but you never know.  If you love it you should grab it.    When this one came out I wasn't sure I loved it.  I was going pass on it, but I saw a sample that used white heat embossing and blues.   I really loved the look.  It reminded me of our trip to Greece a while back.   That was it,  I had to order it.  I'm so glad I did.   I made this and another card already and love how it all turned out.

Reasons to Smile- Postage Stamp

Hi!

I'm still in love with the Waffle Flower postage collage die.   It is so fun to see what stamps will fit into the cells.  This time I used the new Bee set by Unity.  The bees are perfect.   I of course needed to supplement  to fill the smaller cells.  I found an ancient Stampin up set called "Reason to smile".  It had the tulip and sentiment in it.    I think it works.  What do you think?

Beak-Cause

Hello,

I was able to do a little bit of organization in my craft room.  I decided to take all my Chicken stamps and put them together to make a set.   All the images are Unity stamps.  It is nice to have them all grouped.  So I think I'm going to do the same with my cow Unity stamps too.

I haven't made this fun fold in a long time.   I had to pull out an old card to grab the measurements because I couldn't remember the sizes.  I just thought this chicken peaking around the corner was the perfect size for the front panel.     I was had a little fun matching this feather hair to the card base.  I think it just makes it all a little more playful.
