Tree-mendous Christmas

Happy Saturday,

This is the first Saturday we have been home in a long time.  It feels good to be at our house and accomplish a few projects.   Our little man has started to crawl...and we need to start the baby proofing process.  Thankfully, we don't have to do it all at once.

I made this card some time ago, but it never made it on the blog.  I love the penguins. The one at the top is just a cutie.

Copics used:
Green: YG03, YG06, YG09
Brown: E71, E74, E77
Red: R24, R27, R29 ---If I were to recolor this I would add R39
Orange: YR12, YR14
Star: Y13, Y15- added glitter on top
Ground: W3, W1, W0

Glitter Tree

Howdy Stampers,

I have a variation on a card I made a few years ago.   In my first version I used copics to color rhinestones on the tree.  However, I don't think the copics were bright enough.  It was pretty, but it didn't have the "pop" I was looking for.    I wanted to see what it looked like with traditional glitter.
Here is a link to the original card --Jeweled Tree

I'm not sure which one I like better... What I do know is that the photos don't do this card justice.  I couldn't get the camera to catch the sparkle in the glitter.

Today is a Gift...That is why they call it a Present

Hello all!

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  We had a nice visit with family (there are a few photos at the bottom of the baby).  He finally figured out how to crawl the Friday before Thanksgiving.   I was thankful for all the extra hands.  He was determined to get into everything...including going for a swim in the dog's water dish!

Today's card features another laying stamp.  It took me a long time to figure out what colors to use to get the bows to look right.  I love that this can be used for Christmas and also birthday cards.  What a cool idea!
