Card Lover's Class

Hello Stampers,

Every month I put together a Card Lover's class.   I started doing this about three years ago!  It is amazing how fast time flies.   This past month, I decided to change the format a little.  The focus used to be on making six quick cards.  However... the focus slowly changed to making more in depth cards and learning new techniques.  It was becoming harder and harder for us to finish the cards in 3 hours.
The focus of the class will now be on the exploration of new techniques/ideas.  I like having this learning component in each class even if it means reducing the number of projects to five.    I'm also going to TRY to make a instructional video each month.  This way if you live outside the Corning, Brockport, or Ithaca area you can participate.    If you would like more information on this please drop me an email.   I hope to get the first edition of this out soon.

Don't worry I'm also going to continue the Copic Card Club each month.

Here is a photo of September's cards.

Warm and Cozy

Hello friends!

I'm excited to share this card with you today.  I've been on such a House Mouse kick lately. The images are just so detailed and fun.  I made this card into a tent card.  It is a really easy technique and adds so much to the finished card.

This image is really detailed.  There are a lot of shadows, but it was worth the time to color.  I'm thinking about making a few of these as Christmas cards.  I think it would look great in red.  What do you think?

Sending...

Hello friends!

My family and I decided to sneak one more weekend in at the lake.  It was extra special because my Grandma (Ryan's Great Grandma) was able to join us.  It was nice to have four generations all under one roof for a few days.

The crisp air and the changing leaves must be getting to me.  I took one look at my craft room when I got home and decided to rearrange it.  So far... I love the change.   I also like that it is forcing me to clean.  Connor's parents are coming to visit this weekend...so I have a deadline looming to finish this project.  It should be easy... with a 5 month old to help.  YIKES!!

I promise I have more copic cards to share... but I wanted to get this simple one posted.

No copics today
