Extra Sunshine
Hi Crafty Friends,
This idea has been floating around on pinterest. I had to give it a try. It was a little tedious to glue on all the butterflies, but the end result is stunning. I finished it off with a retired sentiment from FSJ.

Field Flowers Three Ways
Hello friends!
Wildflowers are just pretty. I think they are technically weeds, but yet they have this way of captivating us. I was instantly in love with this stamp. I wanted to try to make a masculine card with it. Can flowers be masculine? I'd love to hear what you think.
Materials:
I used wood enamel dots on this one... Not sure how I feel about them. I think I like the twine better. What do you think?

Fields of Tulips
Hello,
Spring has sprung! I pulled my flip flops out this week and was able to wear the without freezing. YEA!! I put away my winter stamps and pulled Easter and spring things this week. I bought these layering dies from Birch Press Designs last fall. They are a lot of fun to use. Once I started I couldn't stop. I had to try them in every color. I would love to know which one is your favorite. I was tied between the yellow and blue (for Ukraine) and the pink foil with green combo.

Seeds of Tommorrow
I made this card for a coloring challenge. Krista (the host) asked us to pick our favorite image. That is like trying to pick you favorite flower out of a garden. That thought landed me on this image. I love her cute little freckles and hair dancing in the wind.
I went a little nuts on nuvo drops (colorful dots floating in the air). If I color this again... I'd leave them off. Oh well... you can't win them all?

Trio of Flowers
I stumbled upon this die by Memory Box called stitched tulips. I loved the idea of using ink to color the flowers and pop them back into the die. It makes an elegant and clean card. I made two variations. One card with colored butterflies and one with white. I think I like the colored butterflies better. What do you think?

Birthday Cactus Box Card
It is time for this month's fun fold video. I have really enjoyed this trend in stamping. It allows us to create something unexpected. This format might be my favorite. It is really easy to assemble and it has a giant WOW factor.

Alcohol Pour
I tried something different today. I usually use a tool of some kind to guide the alcohol to create a background. This time I just poured the alcohol on the glossy cardstock and let it create its own pattern. I made several of these cards and they all are different. Which one do you like?
I finished the card off by stamping a variety of flower stamps on backgrounds. I love the way the black pops off the colored background.

Faux watercolor
I had so much fun making this card. I used Altenew inks and their Hyacinth stamp to create this card. I sprayed the stamps with water after inking them. It helps create a watercolor feel without having any watercolor skill. My favorite kind of card.
No copics today.

Summer Flower Tidla
It had been awhile since I had inked my my Tilda stamps up. I felt like they needed a little love. I took a handful of them with me while on vacation to color up. It was very therapeutic. I couldn't wait to get them onto cards when I got home.
I liked this girl so much, I colored her in two different color schemes. Which one do you like better?

Layered Rose
I'm in love with layering stamps. They can be a bit tricky to line up, but the results are totally worth it. This rose is stunning. I can't get over the amount of detail the artists at Altenew put into it.
