Hello friends,
One of my favorite parts of summer is all the weddings. It is just a reminder that we are surrounded by love. With all the horrible things in the news lately, it is something I welcome!
I love how soft and sweet this card feels. I think this is becoming my new favorite red combination.

Rose Pocket Card
Hello friends,
I'm so excited for this post. I've been experimenting a little with watercoloring. I'm just a beginner, but so far I'm loving it. It will not take the place of copics, but it is fun to do here and there.
I'm also in love with this giant rose die. It is beautiful!
No copics today. However, this card can be made with copics.
I would use
R32, R35, R37, R39
YG03, YG06, YG09

Hello Butterfly
Howdy friends,
I wanted to play with a background stamp today. I have a bunch of them and sadly they do not get used as much as they should. They are so pretty and versatile. I just don't think to use them. This rose background had a lot of detail so I thought it would look nice embossed. I sponged some blue ink in the center of each rose. I was just going to put the Hello sentiment on the front... but it just wasn't enough. I played around for a while but this butterfly was perfect. This card will not fit in a standard envelope, but it is fine with me!

Rose Garden
Happy Monday!
I wanted to play with a new color combination. We all have our favorite combos we grab when coloring. Usually when want purple, I go right for the BV's. I thought it was time to use some V's. I really liked how they turned out. They have a much richer feel to them. I love the look!

Simple Thanks
Happy Friday all,
I needed a really quick and simple Thank you card. I try to have a bunch of these made up to so I can just grab them when I need them.
I hope you all have a great weekend. Connor and I are still scrambling to get ready for our trip. We have hotels and most of our activities booked. It is time to start thinking about packing. It is starting to feel real!

Country Rose
Happy Monday!
I have another of favorite to show you today. It has a little bit of a country feel to it. It might be my imagination. The red patterned paper reminds me of a red bandana. The roses are beautiful! I'm having a lot of fun coloring roses. It is nice to take a break from people.

Blessing to Me
Hello Stampers,
I have a super quick card to share with you. I love the simple and elegant look of this card. I stamped the flowers in an overlapping them just so slightly to give the appearance that they are in a bouquet. I added a butterfly by the greeting for a little something special. I made a bunch of these to restock my card box.
Copics Used: NONE! I know I'm surprised too.

Red Rose, Thinking of You
Merry Christmas!
A very quick post today to let you know that I'm thinking of you. This stamp is from Northwoods. They make beautiful scenery stamps. Roses and Lily of the Valley stamp caught my eye. I wanted to give it a try.
The original stamped image had a extra circle border. I decided to cut that off before adhering it to the lace doily. It fit perfectly!
Copics used:
Red: R05, R14, R24, R29
Green: YG61, YG63, YG67
Lily of the Valley have a touch of R00 and C1
The background is colored with BV000, BV00, BV01, BV04
