Saying Goodbye to 2018

Happy New Year!

This has been another full year.  Writing this post has become one of my favorite things to do on New Year's Eve.  I sit and look through photos and cards I made during the year.  It is good to pause and reflect on what I have accomplished in the last 365 days.  It is always more than I thought.   It helps energize me to learn and do more.   It always reminds me how each day is filled with blessings.

Thank you all for being part of my artistic adventure.  I'm looking forward to another year of challenges and growth.

Here are my favorite projects from 2018 (no specific order):

Happy New Year's Eve!

Where does the time go?    I wanted to sneak one more Christmas card in.   This card is so simple but it was one of my favorites that we made this year.   I added some wink of stella and glossy accents to the bulbs.  It doesn't photograph well, but it adds a real shine in real life.

Yikes! and BlueBird Buddies

Hello friends,

It has been far too long since I've sat down and shared some cards ideas with you.  This fall/holiday season has been crazy busy.   Last year I did 4 craft shows, this year I signed up to do 10.  It was ambitious but I'm glad I did it.  I learned a lot.  I met a lot of really nice people.  It kept me really busy making cards.

I'm looking forward to having my weekends back and getting back on more of a regular schedule.  I hope you all had a wonderful holiday.

I want to sneak in a few Christmas cards before the New Year.   This is what we were busy making in class just before Christmas.
