Nothing smells better than hot cocoa on a cold day.  Yum Yum Yum.   I used some Delicata ink to stamp the snowflakes and steam from the cocoa.  I wish that showed up better in photos.  I love that ink!

Unicorn

Hi there!

I've been playing with dragons a lot lately.  I thought it was time to show the unicorns some love.   I love this unique take on unicorn.  It doesn't show in the photos, the ear, horn and flowers are covered in glitter.  Love the shine!

We got our first taste of fall this year.  This past weekend, the temperatures dropped to 40 degrees.  It was quite a shock after the 90 degree days we had all week.   Do we really have to do the winter thing again?

 I like trying new things...and today's card falls into the new things category.    I used a stencil to create the snow.  It was a lot of fun, but hard to control.  With a little practice, I think I can I'll get better.

I'm sorry I've been absent from the blog.  It has been a crazy few weeks around here.  We have had a family visiting over the last few weeks.   The good news is my Grandma is going to stay for a few months.  We love when she visits and we get to spend more time with her!   She will be at the next Brockport class!

My Grandma inspired this card.  She loves ice cream.  I'm looking forward to an ice cream date.

I love the sentiment on this card.  In my mind this is how love should be.  Sappy huh?  It pairs beautifully with these love birds.  I couldn't decide what color the birds should be...so I made a few one in blue and pink.   I think I like the pink on better.. what do you think?

A piece of Sunshine

Hello friends,

I hope you had a wonderful weekend.  I had a craft show near Rochester, NY.  It was so nice to chat and talk people about card making.  I felt honored that people took time to look and purchase some of my cards.   Thank you all who came out to say Hello.

Today's card was a new technique for me.  It is about die cutting a panel into several pieces and then sponging them so they are different colors.  It wasn't hard to do, but it was a lot of steps.  I love the dimension and trying different color schemes.  I hope to try some more of these in the future.  What a fun technique.
