Santa's Star with Video Tutorial

Hello all!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend.  We had a busy one.  I had the Brockport Class on Friday night.  We had a few new ladies join us.   They fit into the group wonderfully.  We had some laughs and made the card I'm going to share with you today.

This is a tricky one to fold, but everyone mastered it.  You can see how we made it here

My Monthly Hero October 2017

Hello all,

I think I've fallen a little off my rocker.  I had so much fun with the September challenge, I decided to do October My Monthly Hero challenge in two weeks.  If you are unfamiliar with it, the idea is to make 10 original cards from one kit.  No pinterest or similar sights coping other ideas.  The kit doesn't come with enough materials to make 10 cards...so you do have to supplement.  However, the idea is to limit pulling in other things as much as possible.   I managed to only add in 3 additional stamps!

I really enjoy how doing this challenge forces me to look at a stamp set in a variety of different ways.  Usually we make one card and then pull out a new stamp set.  If you haven't tried this, I encourage you to do so.

Here are the cards.... This is a long one... so enjoy.  I'd love to hear which ones are your favorite.  If you want to see more about how I made them.  You can check out this video.

BATTY

Welcome,

I'm in love with this bat.  He is just adorable.  I used him on the card I posted on Wednesday too.   I made a bunch of these and they are all a little different.  In each one I made, I picked a different bat to "spotlight".   I just tucked the sentiment under his wing.

This one the bats go in all directions.

 Copics used:
Black: N9, N7, N5, N3,
R00 for ears
YR12 for feet

Which one do you like better?  All flying up or Going in every Direction?
