Hello there!
I'm still giving my copics a rest. This die was calling my name. I sponged all of the pieces with ink to help add dimension. I love the simple, sweet look. I think I'll be using this die a lot!

Hi, everyone!
Everything goes in circles right? Bell bottoms were popular... then they weren't... then they came back for a hot minute and gone again. I read that shag carpets are coming back into style. Really? Anyone want to take bets on what happens to all the airfryers people bought during the pandemic? Anyway... today's card is a revival from my early stamping days.
Another crafter reminded me of this idea... apply ink directly to an acrylic block, mist with water and then stamp on paper. It is SUPER easy. It creates this colorful watercolor-like background. I stamped the leaves and sentiment on top. I hope you give it a try!

Hello all,
I'm still playing catch up in the photo department. I managed to get another month of photos sorted and labeled! YAY! I'm only a month behind!!
Declan is so curious. He loves to explore and touch everything. The first thing he does is put it into his mouth. He is determined to crawl, but can't quite figure it all out yet. Your smile will melt hearts.
Check out this little cutie! Don't worry we didn't let him eat the watermelon...just suck the juice.
Okay friends.... brace yourself... this guy is cute!
He is from Colorado Craft company. My mom and I where walking around a stamp show and this guy jumped right out at me. I had to adopt this puppy into my stamp collection. I inked him up right away! I'm not sure who made the sentiment. I've had it for a long time and it doesn't have a stamp company name on it. I love how it paired with this stamp. You could use the sentiments that come in the set. They are super cute as well!

Hello,
I have a real simple Autumn card today. I used a stencil from Taylored Expressions to create the bouquet. It was really easy and fun to do. I hope they come out with more. I die cut the bouquet and placed on it leaf background. I think this would be fun to try in spring colors. Is it spring yet?

Welcome,
I'm still working on getting all my Halloween cards posted. This is my second favorite of the spooky cards. Check out my last post for my favorite. The skeleton comes from an old Stampin up set. It was one of those sets I had to get...and it collected dust for years. I'm so glad I took the time to get him inky. He is so cute!
I didn't want to mess with copics to color up those small spaces. I used my pencils. This was a really quick and fun card to make.
No copics today. I used a few shades of colored pencil to give the bones a cream color.
Welcome friends,
I'm so excited for this card. A year (maybe two) ago I saw these two images paired with a similar sentiment. It made me laugh, I couldn't wait to give it a try.
I didn't have a stamp that had the sentiment, so I used a computer to generate this one. After printing the panel, I stamped Frankenstein and his ghoulfriend on the front. I used some fun, bright colors to color them up. I love how they turned out. I think they are my favorite Halloween card from this year!

Greetings,
This is a remake of an old card I made back in 2014. This card has been one of my favorite Halloween cards. I thought it was a good time to revisit this image. You can check out the old card here if you like. I changed up a few things, but the spirit of the card is still the same. Do you like the old or new version better?
This image is from Bugaboo stamps.
Hello crafty friends,
My mom just celebrated her 70th birthday! My sister and I plotted with the help of other family to surprise her. Her sister, brother, and mom (my grandma) came for a (way to short) visit. My sister made a wonderful birthday dinner. Since this was a big milestone birthday several of her gifts were gag gifts. This is what I made for her. Hopefully it will make everyone laugh.
I'll be back on tomorrow with another Halloween card. Have a great day!!

Hello all,
I'm back again. I'm living life like a ping-pong ball at the moment. I bounce from project to project playing catch up. It has been a busy month. We finished up lake season and closed down the cottage. I had a weekend long craft show on Market St. (It went very well). Ryan started kindergarten. The baby started teething and army crawling. Lastly, we gave my mom a surprise 70th Birthday party. In between all of that, I made 10 cards that I've got lined up to share with you. I hope to get back to sharing cards as I make them... but for now... this seems to be all I can manage.
In the craziness of life I almost skipped over Halloween cards. Kathy reminded me how popular they are (thank you for that). As soon as I sat down and starting creating I was so glad I did. I LOVE Halloween.
The hedgehog is from Penny Black. Sadly, I think this stamp has been discontinued.
I created the cloud background using my favorite cloud stencil in Shaded Lilac ink.
