Are you busy making your Easter preparations?   I'm trying to put together a Easter basket for Ryan.  He still doesn't really understand what is going on, but it is fun to watch him discover new things.

This little bunny was so cute.  He just found his way on to my stamp table.

Hello friends,

UPDATE:  I'm proud to announce that this card was chosen as the winner of the House Mouse Challenge this past week.  I feel very honored that you liked my card.

If you follow my blog... you know I have a soft spot for these mice. What is not to love?   I heard they were having a House Mouse Card Challenge.  I thought this would be a perfect excuse to ink up this cutie.   This is one of their newer images (Peony Song).   Colors I used are listed below.

Carrot Kisses

Hello friends,

Spring is just around the corner.   Well at least that is what the calendar says.  The air is still chilly and the white stuff keeps falling from the sky in upstate New York.   Easter is in two weeks.  I hoping the Easter bunny hides the eggs inside this year!

To help warm your heart. I made this guy to share with you all.

Long Time, No Tea

Warm Greetings friends,

I didn't want all the tea drinkers to be left out.   We made this last month in the Card Lover's class.   The tea bag is made out of vellum.  I love the small details.  In my opinion, they make the card special.

Extreme Birthday

Welcome,

I know the Olympics have been over for a bit, but I was so busy enjoying them that I got a little behind on the blog.  I made this card to celebrate all the winter sports.   I thought this bear looked a little nervous about his trip down hill... so I have him a squiggly path.

Layered Flowered-Sympathy

Hello stampers,

I have a beautiful, elegant card to share today.   I don't know what kind of flower this is...so I made it blue.  I love the contrast with the brown card stock.  I also thought it would work well for a sympathy card.  What do you think?

Thank you Kitty

Welcome friends,

I've still been playing with my watercolors.  I love finding new ways to incorporating them into cards.  This was fun to use them along with a stencil to get this cool look.

Snow Cool

Hello all,

I hope you enjoyed my week of birds.  I had so much fun coloring them.   The theme for last month's copic class was texture, light source, and blending two different family groups together.  This is one of the cards we made to practice.    They did a great job.   There is a lot of detail in this card.  I'm so proud of how their cards turned out.

My Monthly Hero February 2018: Birds

Tweet Tweet (that is hello in bird),

February was a short month... and I needed to borrow a few days from March, but I finished the My Monthly Hero Arts 10 cards challenge.  This is my 6th month participating.   Connor (my husband) has been very supportive, as doing this challenge is quite the undertaking.    He even participated this month by making a card (check out card #11).

The theme this month was birds.  I really liked the stamp set.  Hero Arts did not disappoint.  I didn't have any stamps like this.   The stamp set lent itself well to clean and simple cards (my favorite!).   I can see myself reaching for this set in again and again.

I always love to hear what you think.  What cards are your favorites?   Happy Stamping!

Tweet Friends,

Hello My Tweet Friends,

I usually stop after 6 cards... but I couldn't help myself.  I had a few more ideas floating around in my head.   I love the idea of round cards.   I sized these so they fit in a standard sized envelope.

I wanted to try to make a bluebird and robin.  I really like how they turned out!

Sending Joy and Cheer

Greetings!

If you are just joining us..we have been celebrating birds this week.  I thought this guy might look in pink.  I used some scissors to cut his wing away from his body.  This way he can hold the envelope.
