Tag- Easter Chick

 Hello. (again)!

This is my second post of the day.  I'm playing a little catch up.  I know Easter has passed, but these are so cute I wanted to post.    I made these for the Easter class at the Senior center.  We had so much fun putting these together.  I love the eyes on the bird all the way to the right.  He looks like he just learned that bunnies lay eggs on Easter too! 😂😂😂😂.

I hope you all had a great Easter with your families!

Tag You're it

Hello all,

I love the Turnabout stamps by Concord and 9th.   They are a little tricky to use, but I love the end result.  I paired this background with an old Stampin' Up stamp.  I thought the style of stamps went well together.  What do you think?

Background is created with Concord and 9th's turnabout.  If you are curious about how they work,  I made a video using the Fall turnabout.  You can see it here.

Warm Beverage Wishes

Warm Greetings,

Simple cards are sometimes the hardest to make.  I loved this sentiment and wanted it to be the focal point of the card.   Because they images are so small, I thought using a tag on a card would help draw our attention to the beautiful script.  What do you think, does it work?

Sending Joy and Cheer

Greetings!

If you are just joining us..we have been celebrating birds this week.  I thought this guy might look in pink.  I used some scissors to cut his wing away from his body.  This way he can hold the envelope.

Where Did The Cookies Really Go

Hello all,

I have been dying to share a some photos of this project.  I decided to wait until I had delivered all the gifts before posting.   I really enjoyed coloring the tags, but making the cookies was painful.   Anyone who knows me will tell you that I'm no Betty Crocker.  I'm pretty sure I make my husband nervous when I cook.  Suddenly, he wants to hang out in the kitchen.

Thinking that I had things under control, I baked the cookies while he was still at work.   Several hours later, I had burnt half of them.  I really tried.  I just do not have any talent in the kitchen.  If you want me to color you a cookie.  Call me.  If you need help making actual cookies,  I should only be asked as a last resort.   I burnt so many that I didn't have enough cookies to fill the glasses, Connor was kind enough to bake more.

In the end, I think the concept turned out really well.  I found these cute glasses, filled them with cookies.  We decorated them with ribbon and hand colored tags.

Just Chillin' Bucket

I found these cute little buckets at Target a few months ago in the dollar section at the front of the store.  I immediately thought of this stamp.  What could be more perfect than a Snowman in a bucket!  I filled the bucket with chocolate chips and mini snow-caps.  It is a great little winter Thank You Gift for those people who take great care of us.
