Watercolor Geese

Welcome,

I would never consider myself a watercolorist.  It is just so far outside my comfort zone.  It is hard to let go and let the water do the work.  I'm so used to having control with copics.   I do love the way watercolor looks.  It is a beautiful mix of hard and soft lines.

I used the Wetlands set from Stampin up for this card.  Sadly it is retired, but you can still find them on ebay.

Nacho Birthday

Welcome,

Masculine cards are always a bit challenging to make.  I kept this card simple to keep the focus on the silly images.   On the inside I stamped "Fiesta like there is no Manana".   Hmm... anyone else in the mood for Mexican food?

Coffee Makes Me...

Hello all,

I'm so happy to be your part of the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps release party blog hop.   I'm using their Coffee Makes Me stamp.  I paired this stamp with one of my favorite techniques.  I used Distress Oxide inks to create a spilled coffee background panel.  This is an easy technique to try and I love the way neat patterns and texture you get when they dry.

I hope you will watch the real-time video.  You will hear my thought process and see my mistakes and how I fix them.   I'm not perfect, if you are new to my blog.  You will find I'm all about keeping crafting real.   Below you will find photos, a list of copic markers, and a link to the video on youtube.

Reminder if you are looking at this in your email the video will not play.  You need to be on the blog or youtube to watch.  Don't forget to comment for a chance to win a stamp set from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.

Snow Simple

Hello friends.

I have another simple card to share.  I went through my die collection to find a embossing folders, punches, and dies that could be used together to make a snowman.   I love the silver glitter paper on the hat.  It needed a little shine.
