Ryan's First Christmas Album

Merry Christmas,

I hope you are spending your morning with family and eating Christmas cookies.   We are visiting with my Grandma (Ryan's Great Grandma).   It is nice to have all four generations together.    I know she wishes she could spend more time with Ryan.   As Christmas presents this year, I thought I'd make her and my mom a small brag book of Ryan's First Christmas.    It is amazing how much he has changed.   It was fun to remember how tiny he was just a year ago.

I waited to post the project until I we opened presents.  Now that they are enjoying their books.  I can share photos with you!

I hope you all have a Merry Christmas!!

Twin Deers

Hello Stampers!

I love when you get two cards out of one design.  These were a little tricky to make, but I'm so proud of all my students. They were very patient and did a great job with these cards.  I think in the end, they felt it was worth the trouble.

Reindeer Spinner

Hello all,

**Ryan photos at the end**

We in the final countdown until Christmas.  Things in our house are starting to come together.  I'm happy to report that I have my Christmas cards finished and in the mail.  It is unusual for me to have them done this early.  It feels really good.  How are the rest of you doing with your holiday cards?

I made two spinner cards this month.  I wanted to sneak them in before Christmas.   These are so fun and easy to make!

Copics used:

Green: G40, G43, G46

We took Ryan to see Santa.  He did a great job.   I'm love his go with the flow attitude.

Improve with Wine

Today is the last day of my wine tour.  If you been following along, you know that I've been focusing on wine themed cards this week.   I'm really glad someone pointed out that I was missing some wine cards.  These stamps have been neglected for far too long.  I might make some more wine cards in the new year.  We will see what Santa brings me!

I had a lot of fun focusing on a theme for a week.  Did you like having a theme on the blog?  I'd love suggestions for another focus week.

You're a Fine Wine

Hello Winos!

Welcome to Day 3 of wine tour.  I'm inking my way through the wine stamps this week.  I struggled with this card a little.   This card is a little snarky.   You would have to know the person pretty well to send them this card.     I ended up keeping the design really simple to keep the focus on the humor of the card.

Copics used:

Red: R39, R37, R35
Grey: C3, C1, C0
Purple: V17, V15, W5
Green: YG61, YG63, YG67

Christmas Wine

Hello friends,

During the holiday season,  I do several craft shows.   I have a lot of interesting conversations with people during these events.  This year a woman pointed out that I don't have any wine themed cards.  You don't have to ask me twice.   I spent some time inking up my wine stamps.     I'll be sharing the cards all week.

This one has a touch of humor... gotta love it!
