I'm so glad to revisit this technique. I call it reverse eclipse card. I stamped the white panels with the snap dragon set from Altenew. Then die cut the "Smile" out of panel. I popped up the word and replaced the with black card stock. Then I used the smile on another card panel. I hope this all makes sense. I really liked how this turned out. I'm so glad that I remembered this technique.
I've been inspired this month to dig through older things and use them. I have an older stamp set by Altenew called Garden Treasures. I used Pearl-ex or Perfect Pearls to make it look nice and shiny.
It was a hot and humid day here in NY. I'm a summer girl, it didn't bother me one bit! I wanted to inject some of this summer into the cards I was making. I made a card with this unicorn a little while ago. He was holding coffee. I went through my other stamps to see what other food items he could munch on. Can you get more watermelon than summer? I think I might make a Autumn version of this card. I love the playfulness of this!

I thought I'd use some of isolation time to use some stamps sets that I bought and never used. I'm so glad because it made a cute little card. What do you think, do think?
We might still be in the middle of winter here in NY, but I'm looking forward to Spring. This card is very simple but it has such dimension. I used the stamp set for Altenew Sakura. I love that dies come with the set. The set is also unique as the dies cut right up to the stamped line. I wish more stamp companies would start adopting this style of dies. What do you think?
