I am Your Father

 Hey friends,

I didn't get a chance to share this last year, but this is the card that we made for Connor for Father's day last year.   He is a huge Star Wars fan so he got a kick out of it.   Darth Vader was hard to color.  Black things are always hard to not make them look like a black blob.. but I think he turned out okay in the end.

Copics used:

White: E50, E51, E52, E55, E57

Plenty of Fish

 Hello!

This was a fun project.  This stamp/stencil combo creates a panel (like you see on the left below).   You are meant to turn that into a card and Viola! you have a card.   The set does come with dies to cut out the fish.  So I made a second panel and die cut all the fish to see wha tI could make with them...   I ended up with three really fun cards.  I stamped them a variety of sentiments so I can use them for Father's day and Birthdays.    If you scroll down you can see close up of the cards.  I'd love to know what you think of them.  I really had fun playing with this set.  I'd like to make more in different colors.

I have a Hero

Hi!
I hope you all had a wonderful Father's Day weekend! We spent the day at the lake. Ryan had made his dad a very heartfelt card. I helped Declan make his own version. I also made special cards for my Dad and father-in-law. Hopefully they all know how much they mean to all of us.

Below is a card we made in class. I love these sweet bears sitting on a log. I colored them up using my copic markers (color listed below). I purposefully did not blend the browns well to get a "fuzzy" look to the bears.

Because I said so! with video tutorial

Do you remember your first stamp class? One of the things the teacher taught us was omitting. I've never used it on a background stamp before. It worked really well. Check out this fast 5 minute card!
