Birthdays Multiplied

Hello,

I love when I can make multiples of cards.  These cards are from a quad stencil from Taylored Expressions.   It makes it really easy to make a stack of birthday cards in an afternoon.    I used the colors Cotton Candy, Candy Corn, Pineapple and Lollipop to create 4 backgrounds, then decorated them with stars and a sentiment.    If you were going to do a boy set, how would you change up the colors?

Brave

Hello,

One of the things I love is using products in ways that expand their use.    I used red and blue inks in various shades to create a patriotic rainbow.   This is a new take on a card  I made years ago.   It is a monochromatic rainbow.  You can see it here.    I still want to try this in pinks for breast cancer support cards.   I hope I can do that before October.    What colors would you try?

Favorite Stinker

Hello,

Check out this little stinker!  He is a fairly new release from the Unity company.  He is giving off Pepe le Pew vibes.

This was all a happy accident. I was trying to make a card with another stamp, but the stamp turned out to be way too small for this card sketch.   This guy just came in the mail and still on my desk.  He fit perfectly.   I'm going to go back to the drawing board for my original image, but I'm glad this one made it onto a card.  He is just adorable.

Copics used:

Black: T10, T8, T7, T5
Grey: T3, T1, T0
Grass: YG67, YG63, YG61
Purple: V06, V05, V04, V01
Pink: R20

A "POP" of color

Hello,

I wanted to try something different.  I don't use black often on birthday cards, but I wanted the balloon to "POP" (see what I did there).    I do think the muted background really allows the balloon to stand out.  Would you do this in different colors?

As a side note,  the splatter made a huge difference on this card.   I think it broke up the white spaces making the card more balanced.

I wasn't sure about this card when I first made it, but it is has grown on me.  I'd love to know what you think.
