Is there One Baby or Two? Animals Gone Wild

Hello,  

I broke out the quirky animals stamps again.  I love these guys.  I wasn't really intending this, but I think this would be a great card for twins.  I struggle with twins cards, but I think this would work.  What do you think?    Are you liking this style of card?

As you probably know one of my favorite things about teaching classes in the students.  You guys are always inspiring me and give me the best ideas.  Things I would never come up with on my own.   Patty asked me for a baby card that had a dinosaur on it.   I'm sure I may have gotten around to it eventually, but I'm so so so glad she pushed me to create this.  I love this card.  It has also become one of the most popular baby cards on my craft table.  I love you guys.  Thank you for pushing my creative limits!

First Rodeo

Hello friends, 

I got an odd one for you.  A student of mine requested this card.  I admit I scratched my head a bit, but then it all came together.   She was going to a Rodeo themed baby shower.  She wanted t make a Rodeo themed Baby card.  At first, I was at a total loss.  Then I remembered this stamp from Trinity stamps.  Yep... somehow it was so cute that it made it's way into my stash.  I paired it with an old Yeehaw stamp from Stampin Up and the Bandana stamp from Unity stamps.

Baby, Bunnies, and Balloons

It has been awhile since I've made a slim line card.  I forgot how addictive that is!  Spellbinders released this bunny die in March 2022.   I think this was intended to be an Easter card, but in my head I see it as a baby card.  What do you think?

Four Months

 

At 4 months, Declan is starting to get past his colic.  We still have one episode a day.   We are working on sleeping for longer than 2-3 hour periods.   The doctor says you are little on the lightside.  We are working on fattening you up.  It will help you sleep longer too! 

Happy Fourth of July.... way late

Hello again, 

I'm slowly catching up!  I hope you are guys are enjoying these.  These are my handsome boys. We were able to spend the week at the lake for 4th of July.  Ryan loved the fireworks.  Declan thought they were overrated and feel asleep. 

Three Months

Howdy, 

I'm really on a roll!  I have another month sorted!  Declan started rolling over and can hold his head up.  His favorite thing to do is bicycle kick and stand up. 

Two Months

 Hello, 

I've been playing catch up.  The last few month have gone by in a blink.  I snapped a bunch of pictures along the way.  It feels good to have a chance to sort and share some.    Here is Declan at 2 months.  He has learned to social smile.  It melts my heart every time!  

ONE-DURFUL Month

 Hello all, 

 YIKES!  I've been a ghost on this blog for almost a month.  I'm so sorry.  I miss you all.  I miss cardmaking.  I'm slowly getting my groove back.  Declan is having a little bit of a hard time adjusting to life outside the womb.   He is struggling with colic.  Thankfully it is not as bad as what Ryan had.  That experience taught me that it will get better.  If he follows Ryan pattern, it will improve at the 3 month mark and be disappear by 6 months.  My Mom has been an angel. She visits often to help me get some sleep and keep my sanity.  

Between the tears, I've managed to capture some special photos.  I hope you enjoy.  I miss all of my cardmaking buddies.  I hope to be back to my stamp table soon!    

Happy Belated Easter

 Hello all, 

It is hard to believe that Declan is a month old already.  He has his check up and he gained 2 pounds in that time.  He is growing so fast.   Our biggest challenge is that he doesn't sleep for very long.  He is looking for food every 2-3 hours.   It is exhausting, but I know this phase will pass quickly.  I'm trying to soak up all the good things about cuddly newborn.   

I haven't been too busy in my craft room this last month.  I'm sorry for the lack of card related posts.  I hope to get back to crafting very soon.  I'm starting to go through withdrawal.  My fingers are itching to get inky!   In the meantime, I thought I'd share some photos from our Easter photo shoot.    The puppies got in on the fun too.
