Simple Things

 Hello friends,

This is one of my favorite house mouse stamps.  Do I say that every time?  I love house mouse.  I made a card like this about 10 years ago.  I found it as I was rummaging through some stamping stuff.   I've grown so much  in my coloring skills, I really wanted to remake the card.   Ah... I'm so glad I did.  I'm smitten. He is just so stinkin' adorable!  I might also be a bit jealous.  Floating on a leaf.. sounds relaxing. Where do I sign up?

Thanks and Giving

 Welcome friends,

This little girl has her arms full.  The image had a lot of colors, so I wanted to keep the rest of this card simple.  I hope you find her as sweet as I do.

Turkey Die Cutting Card

 Gobble, Gobble,

I wanted to take a break from coloring.  With the help of my wonderful husband we created used some die cuts to create this turkey face.   He looks a bit worried.  What does he have to be worried about? Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday.

Rainbow Thanksgiving

 Hello,

We have been having so much fun with watercolors lately, I wanted to try my hand a rainbow Thanksgiving card.  It is a little untraditional, but I really like it.  What do you think?

Winnie and Piglet

Hello,

A little while ago I found someone who is selling their vintage stamps.  I was able to snag a bunch of them.  It was a great find because companies generally do not feature licensed images anymore.   It was a lot of fun to color up Winnie and Piglet.  They seemed to be enjoying the windy fall day.    Stay tuned to see what other cartoon stamps I picked up.  I can't wait to show you!

So Full of Thanks

 Greetings,

This weather this weekend was wonderful!  We took full advantage of the sunshine and went to the pumpkin patch and took the dogs for long walks.   It was a wonderful combination of warm weather, pumpkin, corn mazes and donuts.  What did you do on this warm fall weekend?

I love the new creative touches companies are adding to their dies.  The dies cut out the bears hands so they can hold their Thanksgiving treats.

Giant Boo

 Welcome,

As many of you know, I enjoy scrapbooking as well as card making.  I love when I can pull in some scrapbooking supplies to make cards.   I used my giant alphabet to die cut "BOO" out of a stamped background.   This card was simple to make, but I love the impact of the large sentiment.  It is a nice change from having a large image as the focal point.

Hello all,

I love Penny Black's hedgehogs.  They are so adorable.  I was able to find this old retired stamp in a stamp sale this summer.  I was so excited to add this guy to my collection.  Just love these two little guys.    Below you can find a few photos of my little guy picking apples.  It was a beautiful fall day!

Adult Halloween

 Hi friends,

It is officially Halloween season.  We hung up a few Halloween decorations around our house this week.  My son loves Halloween and delights in seeing the decorations in people's yards.    It is wonderful to experience holidays through his eyes.

To bring a little humor to Halloween season I created this fun card with the art impressions witch stamp.  I hope you get a chuckle out of it.

Happy Halloween!
