Hello friends,
You know I couldn't let the holiday season go by without coloring up a House Mouse card. It is FREEZING cold here in NY. This guy has the right idea. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.

Hello!
Today I stepped (more of a creep than a leap) outside my comfort zone a little. When I think Navy I usually think silver. I've seen a lot of other card makers using gold with Navy. I was inspired to give it try. I have to say I LOVE it! What do you think? Do you have color hangups?
I hope you had a wonderful holiday. We had a great visit with my family. I wish we were able to see each other more. It is hard when we are scattered across so many States.

Hello!
How are all of your Christmas preparations going? I just wrapped up my last craft show for the year. I need to start focusing on wrapping presents and making some Christmas treats. I've still trying to sneak in a few more Christmas cards in before the season escapes us.
I used these stamps by Technique Junkies to create this silly card. This cat stamp has been a long time favorite. It paired perfectly with the new Christmas tree stamp. Just to spice up the layout a little I used the vertical Merry Christmas. I like that you can see it when the card is closed and open. What do you think?

Grey: C7, C5, C3, C1
Red: R39, R29, R24

I used Tombow markers to color the tree and gel pens to color the packages.
Hello!
Hello!
Are you afraid of white space? It makes me uncomfortable. I struggle with leaving white spaces on my cards. I like to challenge myself and push boundaries. I tackled this by making my mat on the card smaller than I normally use. It is 3 3/4 by 5 inches. Then used some powerful colors in the middle. I think the white tames them a little. This stamp was perfect for this type of layout. I love how she breaking her boundaries and pushing her way out of the center box. It is a little detail... but it makes me happy.

Hello!
That white, cold stuff is falling from the sky. It may be cold, but it does make everything look beautiful. This penguin seems to be enjoying herself. She is from a die set called Winter Squad. I placed her right above the word "Winter" to highlight the word. I used sparkle gel pens to add polka dots to her scarf. I love all the sparkle. These new background stamps make perfect backdrops to these characters.

Hello!
I'm loving these bookbinding cards. I used to make square cards, but stopped because they cost more to mail. This allows me to work in the square format without having to deal with extra shipping.

Greetings!
Housework is never fun! Why do housework, when you can make cards, right? Well I couldn't escape it forever, so we had a clean-a-thon this weekend. The only dog hair in our house is on the dog at the moment. I love this new stamp from Technique Junkies. It fits me perfectly.
The top card reminds me of when you wash the windows and it leaves streaks. At least when the sunshines it creates a beautiful rainbow. 😂 The second card was a "mistake" when I was trying to make a coffee background (video here) I thought it looked like hair.... so I used it for this card.
I hope they give you a chuckle!

Hello,
I know many of you are making Christmas cards. I know that I am. I love this design because it has a WOW factor and is EASY to make. As a bonus it uses up decorative paper in an efficient way. I also love that you can incorporate a gift card or another decorative panel. I hope this helps you tackle some of those Christmas cards. Happy Crafting!

Hi!
I love cards that make people smile. This cow from Stamping Bella has the perfect expression. I colored this weirdo up with prismacolor pencils on Kraft cardstock. I love the way white almost glows. Just to switch it up, I colored the cow's spots blue to match the paper. I wish I thought to do these things more often I really like how it came together. What do you think?

Hello all,
This is one of those cards that has been stuck in my head for a long time. I was inspired by another crafter to make a card using Charlie Brown and this sentiment. I had those stamps, but I put my own twist on it. Good Grief.. he makes me laugh!

Hi!
Who doesn't love Winnie the Pooh. The copyright expired on him and so many companies are releasing their version of Pooh. This one is from Impression Obsessions. It was only available for a short time, but they have several other sets that are adorable! They all are so sweet. More Pooh cards are coming...

Creating the look of Gold with alcohol markers has always been a challenge. I spent some time playing with my markers to find a combination that was easy and looked like true GOLD. As a bonus stay tuned and see how easy it is to make the bells chime (swing) on the card. Click here to watch video
