Sending you Love

Hello!

I've had this embossing powder in my stash for a long time, but I was unsure what to use it for.  I accidentally bought it.  It looks like white and it is called Pearl.  I thought it would be white when heated, but it is this shimmery color.  The photos don't do the effect justice.  I think I'd like to try this card again on a different color card stock to see what it looks like.

I Paws-itively Love You

Hello,

I'm so happy to share this little puppy Valentine with you today.  I tried an unusual copic combo on this guy.   I usually grab my E30s or my grays when I see a dog.  I thought I'd try this pinky-brown instead.  I really like it.  I think I'll be doing this more and more!!

You're Purrrfect

Greetings!

Connor and I just returned home from another weekend in Rochester.  I had a great time with the Brockport crew on Friday night.  It was nice to welcome some new faces to our group.  I hope to see you all again soon!

I wanted to share another card from the Valentine set I created.  This one might be one of my favorites.  I love this little kitty.  Don't worry I'll post a doggy Valentine later this week!

Pet Sympathy- Paw Prints

Welcome!

I really like this card, but I hope I never have to send it.  I had a few requests for pet sympathy cards.  I made a dog specific card last month.  I wanted to make a one for all the cat lovers.  However, I couldn't find a cat image that I felt was appropriate for a sympathy card.   I decided to make this general card instead.

An Elephant Never Forgets

Greetings!

The say a Elephant never forgets.  I was curious...and looked it up.  It is true... science says that elephants have really, really long memories.   Elephants migrate and they need to remember the migration routes (they are passed on from generation to generation).  They also need to remember where to find water along the routes.  In some years, water can be scarce.  It is a real life saving skill.

That is why you are unforgettable....

Christmas Elf

Hello all,

I'm starting to get back into the swing of things.  I spent some time in my craft room cleaning last week.  YIKES!   I'm glad that I made some progress... but I'm reminded of how far I have left to go.   It made crafting this week that much more enjoyable having some things put away.   I also managed to sort some Christmas photos.  I'll post a few (okay a bunch) at the bottom from our little photo shoot.

I have a Christmas elf to share with you.  Not to be confused with Elf on the Shelf.  What do you think of Elf on the Shelf?  Connor thinks he is creepy.  I think it is good to encourage a child's imagination. We will have to make a decision about that for next year.  Should we do it for Ryan?

Back to crafting...   this turned out to be one of my favorite Christmas cards.  I actually think it might work as a Christmas Thank you card.  What do you think?  Do you think Christmas thank you cards should be Christmas themed...or can they be anything? Lots of questions today!!

Look at this cutie!  I had to hunt high and low to find a sentiment for this card.  Nothing seemed right.    I think the sentiment is from an old Stampin Up set.  It really matched up well

Here are the baby photos.   I did my best to narrow it down.  It was hard.  I'm biased... but he is cute.

At times like this... I wish I baked.  This would have been cuter with homemade cookies.  :(

 Did I miss Santa?

Copic DVD Classes

Hello,

***These classes are now available online.  Contact me for details  ***

I started creating Copic DVD classes because it gives the student a unique look into the coloring process.  Due to the nature and time involved this is something that is impossible to during a live class setting.    The best part is you can pause, rewind, and re-watch as many times as you like.  I'm always available if you have questions.

Please scroll down to see classes I currently have available.  You can click on the link to learn more about each class.
