Learning to Dance in the Rain

Sorry I haven't posted all week.  Connor was sick all week.  Thankfully he is feeling better and we can get caught up on things.  This card was from last Monday's class.

I love the blues in this card.   I started coloring this image with the hopes of improving the way I color blonde hair.  It is something I struggle with.  I don't like it when the hair looks orange.   I like the way this one turned out.  I'm going to continue to practice.  I'm all ears, if anyone has suggestions.
Tilda in Mid-Summer Rain
Supplies used:
Paper: Pacific Point, Bashful Blue, White
Punch: from Martha Stewart
Stamps: Tilda in Mid-Summer Rain
Copics:
Skin: E00, E000, E01, R01
Hair: E31, E53, E51, YR31
Dark Blue: B28, B26, B24
Light Blue: B01, B00, B000
Shadow: W1, W0
Umbrella handle: E37, E35

It is hard to see in the photo, but there is a small amount of glitter on the top of the umbrella and on her skirt.  I didn't want big flakes of glitter that come from Stickles.  I went through my stash and found Illuminate Smooch.  I love Smooches.  they are a great way to add details to a project.

I have some catching up to do from last week.  More cards will be posted soon!!
Happy Crafting
Chris

  3. Hi Chris it is Maz here again.
I see you have word verification on your blog. Most girls don't like leaving comments on blogs that have this as it takes up too much time. Blogger deals with any spam now so it is quite safe to turn it off. You can do this by going to settings and then to posts and comments. Turn off word verification by putting no in the box. Hope this helps you and I hope you don't mind me telling you this. it would be a shame for you to miss some comments on your lovely cards.
