The weather in upstate NY has been strangely odd this year. This is my first NY winter in years. I was expecting to be knee deep in snow and buried under pile of blankets. The snow never really arrived. The last few weeks have been warm and spring like. I took the flip flops out of the closet and retired the winter coat. Spring has officially arrived and the sun has disappeared. Sleet is falling from the sky and I’m hiding under a fleece blanket. In order to coax spring out again. I made this simple textured card. I hope Mother Nature will hear my plea.
The embossing folder and stamp is made by Stampin Up.
I stamped the greeting in a grey ink to keep the soft look to the card.
The color of the flowers and stems were adding chalk. Chalking isn’t a
technique I use often, but it gives a very soft romantic feel.Thanks for looking. I hope you are warm and stamping!
