Hello!
I'm still...getting myself organized from our weekend in Ohio. My copic classes went really well and I met some really creative people. I'm looking forward to talking with them more. I've spent the last few days filling orders from the weekend. I still have a few more DVDs to get in the mail, but I'm mostly caught up. I'm looking forward to coloring up some of the new stamps I purchased on Saturday!!!
Today's card is one we made in the Pet themed Card Lover's class this month. I love the cute little dog. It is made my a company that closed its doors a few years ago called "There She Goes". I miss them a lot...they used to make the cutest images.
The background is created with a stencil I made at home.
Copics used:
Dark Brown: E30, E31, E33, E35
Light Brown: E50, E51, E53
Nose: N5, N3, N1
Red: R24, R29
Grass: G46, G43, G40
I put some glitter on the stars- it doesn't show up very well in the photos.

Hang in There...
Hello all,
Did you ever see the poster of the cat hanging from a rope, its legs dangling, a petrified look on its face and the text reads "Hang in there"? I had one hanging in my classroom when I was teaching. I saw a card made my another artist on Pinterest. Her card made me think of this poster and I instantly wanted to make one.
I try not to copy cards exactly when I see them. My goal is to change three things on the card to make it my own. On this card, I changed the sentiment, the coloring medium, added fish to the background, and paper/twine. I used kite string for the twine, because I didn't want to buy some weird shade of blue green twine that I probably never used again. All the paper is from Stampin Up. Hopefully the original artist would be flattered that I was inspired by her card.
Here is the stamp set I used to create this card-

You'll Always Be Pawesome
Hello friends,
I bought this new die that says "pawesome". It is so cute and pairs so nicely with so many animal stamps. I thought it would get a lot of use. However, I found that it is hard to find a sentiment that works with it. I poured over all my stamps and I finally found "You'll always be..." I'm going to brainstorm some other ideas for sentiments, but for now I think this works well. What do you think?
No copics
Just a little glitter on the heart
