The Valentine Buzz

I hope you stopped by to see what all the BUZZ is about.  These bee's are happy to celebrate Valentine's day with you.

Connor (hubby) helped me create this card.  I had the idea to create a honeycomb pattern, but the dye I had wasn't cutting it.  Connor and I created a pattern together and somehow he magically got the Silhouette machine to cut it out the pattern.  AWESOME!!

The rest I pieced together from a random stamps sets I had.

A Walk in the Clouds

Happy Saturday!  This week was a bit of a blur.  I managed to catch some bug going around town.  I feel like a magnet for bacteria this winter.  Thankfully it is over.  On to the fun stuff....

I hadn't used any of my Magnolia stamps in a while and I was eager to ink one up.  I chose a a little girl blowing kisses and cloud stamp.  I masked off Tilda so it looks like she is sitting on the cloud.

 When I think clouds and sky, blue is the first thing that comes to mind.  I wanted to do something a little different.  PINK!  I used a die cut as a stencil and sponged ink over the edge to create cloud background.  It was a lot of fun to do.  I like the way this technique turned out.

Cute Snowblower

Happy Monday,

It has been really cold here in NY.  Each morning we wake up to a fresh coat of snow on top of everything.  My Facebook feed has been full of silly stories of my friends shoveling the driveways.  It inspired me to color up this cutie.

Wouldn't having a pet elephant be awesome?
