Episode of Hoarders

Happy Saturday!

I hope this bring a little joy to your Saturday morning.  Willett, our yellow lab-mix, has a new hobby.  She goes around and collects all of dog toys and puts them in her "house".  I think this might be so her sister can't play with them.    If this continues, we might need to call the producers of the TV show "Hoarders" to schedule an intervention.

Once I'm finished laughing... I'll start working on some cards. LOL...

You Make Me Laugh

Hello all,

I'm still trying to get back into the swing of things.  Connor (hubby) had a few days off from work.  It was nice to have him home.  He rarely takes time off of work, so I tried to enjoy every second of it. We watched movies, went out to eat, shopping, and even finished a few house related projects.  Nothing overly exciting...but it was nice to have some time together.

Monday, I met again with my copic group. It was really nice to see all of them.  We had a good time coloring up some new images and sharing stories from the holiday.   Here is one of the cards we made on Monday.

She is more difficult to color than she looks.  It was a nice challenge to start the year off with.

Copics used:
Purple: BV00, BV01, BV02, BV02, BV04, BV08
Skin: E000, E00, E11, E13, R20
Grey: C7, C5, C3, C1,
Lips: R32, R35
Tongue: RV52, RV55
Hair: E30, E31, E33, E35, E39, E49, E44
I put some glitter on her necklace.

Saying Goodbye to 2014

Happy New Year!

It is hard to believe that we 2014 has come to an end.  On New Year's Day it is tradition to look back at our accomplishments and set goals for the next year.  We had another year full of stamping.  I'm so proud of all my students.   I love seeing your projects and skills grow.  It is a blessing to be a part of your creative journey.   I'm looking forward to another exciting year of stamping and learning. I've already scouted out a few classes I hope to attend.  I also hope to make another mini-copic class to help students refine copic skills.

In 2015,  I hope to spend a little more time on some of my personal projects.   My resolution is make one scrapbook page a month.  Are there any other scrappers out there?   I love to scrapbook, but I have been so focused on cards that I haven't made the time to preserve memories.   This is doable right?  At the moment, it seems a little overwhelming. Where do I start?  There are mounds of pictures to choose from.  AAAHHHhhh.... I might need some therapy.

While I create a plan... enjoy a look back on my favorite cards of 2014 (no special order)
