This past weekend was Connor's Birthday weekend. We planned to go out to dinner with my family and then go out on the town. Sadly, our plans were hijacked by an illness and a little car trouble. Friday evening, Connor started feeling poorly, by Saturday evening he was in rough shape. He woke up with a fever of 103. I'm so thankful for Tylenol. What a wonderful thing that stuff is. He went to the doctor yesterday and is on the mend. He is anxious to get back to a normal. I haven't had a good night sleep since Connor has been sick, but thankfully I've managed to stay healthy.
We did make the most of our visit. We had a nice dinner and cake with my Mom, Sister, and Grandma. We did manage to sneak in a visit with my Dad's new 9 week old puppy. He only weighs four pounds. He is a rescue dog part Jack Russell and part Beagle. My Dad fixed our car in the freezing cold. I'm forever thankful for getting us home safely and saving us money.
