A Christmas Hug

I wanted to sneak a little Christmas into July.  I saw this image from Mo Manning month ago.   I loved the little girl's hair.  She has such a sweet face!

I really really really liked coloring this image.  I took my time, and really focused on creating texture. There is always room for improvement, but I'm proud of how it turned out.

Copics used:
Red: R14, R17, R24, R27, R29, R37, R59
Brown: E40, E42, E43, E44, E47
Grey: C1, C3
Skin: E000, E00, E11, E13
Green: G43, G46
Gold: Y17, Y28
Bear: E30, E31, E33, E35

Afterthoughts:  I don't think I would change the colors I used this time.  I'd like to keep practicing with red.  I love how this turned out... but there is always room to grow.  My reds got a little saturated in a few places.  I wish I had let them dry a bit before adding darker shades.  Oh time.
