No One Elf Like You

Greetings,  (Ryan Halloween picture at bottom)

I'm trying to switch from Fall cards to Christmas cards.  It is always a tough transition for me.  I'm pushing through it.  I pulled out some of my favorite stamps to help ease in.  These elves look like they are finding some play time in Santa's workshop.

As promised here is a photo of a Terrifying Ghost.  This is the first costume that he has picked all by himself.  He was having a blast sneaking up on family members and scaring them.  He just thought that was hilarious.   It was a quiet Halloween, but we made the best of it.

Relax a Little

 Hello,

Yesterday was the presidential election.  I'm a night owl, but I was up late even for me hoping for a result.  As you know... they are still counting ballots.  I just pray they find a peaceful outcome.  Anyway, I thought we could use a little reminder during these stressful times to RELAX.

This mouse has nailed it.  I didn't put words on my card.  I thought it could be used for retirement, thinking of you or encouragement.  I can add those when I'm ready to send it.

The theme at House Mouse challenge blog this week is favorite color.  I love green and purple.  I couldn't choose between the two so I used them both.   I hope you will stop by and check all the wonderful house mouse cards posted this month.

Merry Chick-mas

 Greetings friends,

It seems no matter how hard I try to pretend that winter is not coming, the air keeps getting colder.  I think I saw a few flakes floating around the other day.  I was hoping they would cancel winter.  They have cancelled everything else in 2020.  Oh well, I guess if it is going to happen I'm going to make it make some awesome Christmas cards.

This card has been on my list since last Christmas.  A small company called Purple Onion stamps released a bunch of farm animal christmas stamps.  I don't live on a farm (not even close), but these guys are really cute.    I used kraft card stock because color pencils seem to glow.  I used gamsol to blend the colors a bit.

I wish I had a stamp that said... Merry Chick-Mas!  Oh well.. I'll keep my eyes out for one.  I hope you enjoy this card.

No copics today.  I used prismacolor pencils and gamsol to color
