Easter Leftovers

Happy Easter Stampers!

Connor and I are enjoying a weekend with his parents.  We have blessed with delicious food and time with family.  We are so lucky!

Today I'm sharing my last Easter card of the year.  I colored this image over a year a ago.  It has been in my "need to finish" bin for too long.   I love this image from Lili of the Valley.  These bunnies are so cute!

Circus Trixie

My new favorite company is Saturated Canary.  I love coloring the hair on these girls.  Each image provides a new challenge.  Don't look to close, you will see some places where the ink creeped farther than I wanted it too.  In the end,  I love how this card turned out.  I think I'll try it again, but use some blues and purples.

Fairy Cool- Copic 4 Class

Happy Saturday!

I just had an amazing class in Canandaigua.  Thank you all for a wonderful class.  In class we talked about the cool things you can do with copics, one being that you can create make things translucent.   Check out her wings, you can see her hair through them.  You can learn how to create this look in Copic 4.

I hope you enjoy!

So Eggciting

This Tilda card is from the new Easter Magnolia collection.  Hiding Eggs Tilda is one of my favorite, stamps from this collection.   She is fun and fast to color.   I used an old Stampin Up stamp to create the grass at the bottom.  I stamped the grass twice before re-inking to create more depth.

I hope Spring has come your way!

Bonsai Hope

Hello Stampers,

We live in a world of Blu Rays and HD streaming.  We have instant access to movies 24 hours a day!  It is amazing.  Do you remember Beta tapes?  They existed for a short time before VHS tapes.  We had a Beta player until just a few years ago.   Despite my nostalgic protests, my mom donated it.  My parents would only allow us to watch movies when it was raining outside.   We only had a few movies to choose from.   The Karate Kid was a family favorite.   This card reminds of the film, rainy afternoons, and an age when things were simpler.

I hope sparks a happy memory for you..

Beware of Bunnies

Hello friends!

Easter is on it's way.  This little bunny is hoppin' by with some words of wisdom.  There are so many sweet treats to be found at this time of year.  It is hard to keep my paws off of them!   I hope you are doing better than I am.

Many Smiles,
Chris

Eggs-traordinary Easter

Hello friends!

I have a new Tilda card to share with you today.  I really like how the card turned out.  I was a little worried about the paper ribbon, but they turned out well.  I just cut strips of paper and then used scissors to trim the ends.  They kind of look like fish tails!

Jelly Bean Heist

Hello all!

Our gym is having a contest to see who can loose the most weight.  I'm was not excited to have my lack of weight loss monitored by an overexcited, fitness nut.  Our zumba teacher encouraged me to participate.  I respect her a lot so I reluctantly agreed to the weigh in. I thought that would be the end of it, however, the gym gave us a "to do" list.  Trying to be a good sport, I tried to play along.  In the end, I just wanted to loose some weight right!!!

I attended my "fitness evaluation" last night.   I was really disappointed.  First my "trainer" was 25 min late.  Then she put me through a series of exercises.  I did well on most of them.  I clearly need to spend more time with weights, but I held my own on the cardio stuff.  I scored well in most categories  but "failed" overal because I couldn't bench press half of my own weight.  In the end she told me that Zumba is a waist of time and what I needed was a $480 a month personal training package.  I had to laugh.  Who did this gym think I am?  Are you kidding me?

Connor has his "fitness evaluation" tomorrow.  Does anyone want to place a bet? I predict that his trainer will conclude he needs a overpriced personal training package.

In honor of being physically fit.  Check out these mice!  Maybe all we need is the proper motivation!
